Ed the Penguin
One of the penguins to emigrate from Antarctica to the Arctic, Ed is the smartest of the three friends in a geeky, technologically-superior kind of way. He is an internet zealot and wants everyone else to be as enthusiastic about the applications of the world-wide web as he is. Ed lacks the street smarts of Oscar. Thus, he is often fooled into testing the water for killer whales, which he has a morbid fear of.
Oscar the Penguin
This egotistical penguin is self-centered, fashion-conscious and street-smart. He is a practical joker and can be insensitive to the feelings of others, but he isn't malicious. Deep down, he has a good heart and a need to be loved, be it by women he meets online dating, or by ill-advised pets he acquires.
Gordo the Penguin
Not the sharpest tool in the box, Gordo avoids stretching himself intellectually. Laid back to the point of being lazy, Gordo would list playing computer games and watching sports as being his favorite "activities", though he is the most naturally physical of the three penguins.
Frank the Polar Bear
Frank is a middle-aged polar bear whose primary motivation is food. He can be a bit grumpy and cynical, but he has a caring, cuddly side which is seen occasionally.
Hector the Arctic Tern
A ruthless bird, who will do anything to make a buck. Hector runs a bar/cafe, supermarket and just about any other business in the small Arctic town of Snowpeak.
Lenny the Lemming
Lenny is very friendly, very trusting and very gullible.
Howard the Snow Rabbit
The intellectual of the group, Howard can be a bit pompous, but is usually taken down a peg or two by the penguins. He is alarmed by what is happening to the environment, but his efforts to get fellow residents to go green are not always successful.
